DittoStudios are a video production company based in the south coast of England. With a combined 15 years of experience in the video industry, they’re championing a huge range of projects in the area from music videos to promotional montages, corporate videos to short films. They turned up at the Copperdollar Studios recently with their fully equipped crew, from pre-production to final delivery, these guys are ready for anything. Find out more about them here.
Can you tell us a little bit about what you’ve worked on recently at the Copperdollar Studios?
We hired out the studio to film a music video for a worthing based Metal band Kesagake. You can check it out here – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yQMts7LJK3I
How did you hear about the studios?
We are local to the Brighton area and had heard that Copperdollar Studios is one of the few studios in Brighton that allows live drums. Since we were looking for a place to film a heavy metal band, that was pretty vital. We checked out the space via the website and saw it would be perfect for what we wanted and loved that it had it’s own charisma.
What advice would you give to people wanting to go down the same path as you?
Every member of Ditto Studios has gone down different path to get to where we are now. We asked the whole crew and these were their answers!
Matt’s advice: Make Youtube videos and see if you enjoy it.
Luke’s Advice: Don’t get in debt over gear. What you create matters more than gear.
Rowan’s Advice: What ever you want to do, start now.
Finally, what is the most rewarding part of your job?
Enjoying what we do so much that it doesn’t feel like work. That is the goal in life really and we’re all so lucky that we truly love what we get up to.
